The story behind this trip…

I got the travel bug as a young boy while living in the UK during my Dads military service.  While living in England and Scotland I got to see most of the UK as well as vacationing to Malta.  Ever since then I have only dreamed of a trip of this magnitude.  Over the course of the last few months, my dreams have been slowly turning into a reality.  I have made this a priority in my life and am excited everyday as I see everything unfolding before my eyes.

I have decided to keep this travel blog of my amazing journey.  This will be a great way for me to share all of my stories, memories, photos, and videos, but also to keep in touch with friends and family back home.  You will be able to check this site whenever you would like to see where i have been, where I currently am, who I’ve met along the way and to share all of my ups and downs throughout.

Be sure to check in frequently and follow along with me as i wander around the world with only a pack on my back.  It is going to be one amazing journey you will not want to miss.  Feel free to email me or leave a comment on your favorite posts.

Journey of a lifetime…

This is the beginning of my travel website.  It doesn’t look like much right now, but over the next few weeks you will see it start to take shape.  I am in the planning stages of this journey of a lifetime.  My goal is to backpack around the world for at least a year visiting as many different cities, cultures, and sites of the world.  Stay tuned as more will come soon. Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know if you have any suggestions at all.
