First of all, I’d like to thank everyone for visiting my website. I do appreciate everyone for being interested and reading up on my journey from pre-trip planning to eventually my return home. Just knowing that you are interested and want to follow my journey is satisfying to me.
I will be traveling on a pretty tight budget that will require me to endure some sacrifices along the way. Instead of staying in nice hotels and eating out in expensive restaurants, I will be living in the cheapest hostels and eating street food from vendors. Hot showers, direct TV, first-class, and high-speed internet will not be a part of my daily life as they are in the states. Of course we all know that the American dollar goes along way in certain parts of the world. I could live on a beach in Thailand in a cabana including three meals a day for less than ten dollars a day. Or how about a twenty-five cent beer in Cambodia or Laos.
Europe, however, I will not be that lucky. I may miss out on some of the most amazing places because I will have to be penny pinching. If you would like to go above and beyond and perhaps help me view some of the great sites Europe has to offer, or even to buy me a pair of 5 dollar socks on one of my gift registries, it would be greatly appreciated. Any donation will help incredibly on this trip of a lifetime.
